Parades(Hey, they have music, don't they??)

Right now I am taping the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade and it has just occurred
to me that I never watched the latest Macy's Parade after taping it

Maybe I'll just have a "Parade Day" around here one of these days (Today would be a fine day for that were it not for the fact my tv-vcr is otherwise busy with the Twi-Zo marathon)


I was going to say something else as well, but true to my fashion I've lost my train of thought so I'll just ask...


Is anyone else a fan of parades? My favorite part has always been the bands, especially the drum cadence (ever since I used to hear the local high school band practicing)

To make this more approriate for the TV board I guess I should ask: Do you like to watch parades on TV or do you prefer the local gig? Or is it both? (Or all?)
