Has anyone caught the Reba tribute Giants - Reba McEntire on CMT?
Reba is one of the few country artists that I love, and it was really great to see everyone come out and show such admiration and praise. There were tribute performances by Barbara Mandrell, Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, and Martina McBride. The latter two also did a SPECTACULAR duet of Reba's "Does He Love You".
This special originally aired a couple of weeks ago, but CMT has been replaying it a lot and I'm sure there will be other chances to catch it if you haven't already.

I went to the taping of this at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. It was an awesome show!! These are the cream of the crop when it comes to female singers in country music. You could not have assembled a better, more classy, group of women under one roof!! Just one correction to your post...Barbara Mandrell didn't perform...but she gave a wonderful spoken tribute to Reba. The performances were: Martina McBride - Whoever's in New England Kelly Clarkson - Why Haven't I Heard From You? LeAnn Rimes - The Greatest Man I Never Knew Wynonna - Is There Life Out There Jennifer Nettles - The Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia Faith Hill - You Lie Dolly Parton - How Blue Megan Mulally - You Can't Get a Man With a Gun (from the musical Annie Get Your Gun) Trisha Yearwood - If I Had Only Known then Martina and Kelly came back out for (like KittyKat said) a SPECTACULAR version of Does He Love You. WOW! UNBELIEVABLE!! And Reba closed the show with Fancy. I thought that LeAnn Rimes' performance was also one of the best! ...as well as Jennifer Nettles. Trisha's performance was dedicated to Reba's band who were killed in a plane crash in 1991 (I think was the year). Not a dry eye in the house. There were a lot of spoken tributes from the performers and other actors and musicians. It was a fantastic show! CMT has aired it quite a few times and I think it is on again this week! If you like great singing it's a must see!!

How cool that you were at the taping; what an experience!
The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was the fact that no one sang "Til You Love Me", which is my fave Reba song.

How cool that you were at the taping; what an experience! The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was the fact that no one sang "Til You Love Me", which is my fave Reba song. It was a great show to get to go to. Unfortunately we were in the nosebleed seats...fortunately the Kodak Theatre isn't THAT big! The prime seats were going for $250 - 400...a bit steep. It was quite the star-studded event too...complete with a mini red carpet where they were doing press interviews. I have to admit, that despite being a big country music fan, I've never been a huge Reba fan. I'm a fan of her for what she's done for women in the industry and for the entertainer that she is....she's a wonderful lady, but I guess I've just never loved her voice. I'm trying to remember if I am familiar with that song, Til You Love Me...it's not ringing a bell. I must say that this tribute made me appreciate some of her songs more! Those are some great songs!
