She just did a WONDERFUL rendition of her current single, Concret Angel! No drums, guitars, etc, just strings and piano. She looked great of course, in a black satin dress! Hope some of you got to check her out and hear what a fantastic voice she has!!

It sounds like it was a very moving and beautiful performance! I'm taping tonight's awards show, and will be sure to watch her tomorrow. She has such a wonderful voice, and is one of the premier talents in country music today.

As you now know, she's resting up so she can sing again out here. Meanwhile, I'm debating whether or not I'm gonna make the trek "all the way down" to watch this and "Idol" (My husband gets home late so he can catch the L & O special when it repeats)

I'm afraid I didn't get to see her perform. I was watching American Idol (sorry--I'm obsessed with that show. ;D) I turned it on just in time to see Martina finishing up the song. I am sorry I missed it.

[glow=red,2,300]That was just about the only part of it I saw. Concrete Angel is on the list of songs that make me misty-eyed. She was great, though.
Didn't she also sing "Independence Day" a few years ago back? [/glow]

But it was such a great song, it is still the one most people associate with her.

I kept flipping back and forth between the award's show and some movie, and of course, I missed seeing her perform..
