CMT's Top 100 songs-Martina sings number 1!!!!

Well the concert for the Top 100 songs of Country music took place last night, with the top 12 songs performed by various artists.

Number one went to Stand By Your Man, and who did they get to close the show and sing this legendary piece? That's right, reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, Martina McBride!!!

I heard the other day that "Stand" was voted #1 but I had no idea of the Martina connection . I'll be watching:)

The COMPLETE special, with the whole 100 countdown is on Sunday at 4PM EST.

The concert ONLY is on Monday at 6PM EST.

Then it is repeated at various times throughout the week!

I had so much fun watching the Top 100 this afternoon, and seeing Martina finish it off at the very end.. well, let me just say that she blows Faith Hill and Shania Twain way outta the water. (No offense to any Faith or Shania fans out there)

I've always felt that way, but her performance just made it that much more obvious in my mind.
