The next suggestino is due to be from Ken, but I neglected to get another suggestion from him.
I need more suggestions from these people-
Ken Tracy Mary Dawn Mike Laura Ed (I still have 2 left from you) Pete Woody (I still have one from you) Kathy
AND NEWBIES!!!!
PLEASE give me suggestions for these song tournaments! It's preferred if the suggested artists have in the range of at least 16 songs that are recognizable to most people.
If any of you are out of suggestions, let me know and I'll skip to the next person!
THANKS

How about some Motown stuff? (Supremes, Temptations, Miracles, etc.) I don't know if I would know all the songs on these tourneys, but it would be fun.

I PM'd Adam a few, but he asked me to post them so there wouldn't be double suggestions...
Initially I thought of: Huey Lewis Jay & The Americans Van Halen Def Leppard James Taylor Foreigner (if we haven't already done them) also a Phil Spector tourney.
and I just thought of a few more:
Jan & Dean Tommy James & The Shondells I wouldn't mind seeing Gordon Lightfoot, because there's a LOT of great stuff on that Complete Greatest Hits CD, but I don't know how many clicksters have it..) Steppenwolf would also be cool, but you KNOW "Born To Be Wild" is gonna win... Then again, you never know...

If I had _my_ way it would be "Rock Me". Then again, I don't know that many of their songs, so I'd probably have to pass on a bunch of 'em...

Have you done a Jim Croce tourney yet? If not, please add it to the list.
How 'bout a "one hit wonder" tourney to cover artists who wouldn't be on your regular tourneys?

Little Feat - great band, not sure how many people know their music. I think we've done Paul & George, how about John & Ringo I agree with the Gordon Lightfoot. Haven't seen the Byrds yet. Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Four Seasons. Bon Jovi would be cool as well as Guns & Roses. How about some 50s people, Fats Domino, Platters, Drifters Dave Clark Five, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince.
Just a few.

Too important of an artist to do with the rest-he'll be at the end!

I know some of it--I've got 2 of their CD's ("Dixie Chicken" and "Repesenting the Mambo"). They were? are? (I think they still might be around in some form or another) a very versatile band and have some great songs.

An instrumentals tourney. HAve we done Creedence? "Been there, done that" to both of those suggestions. Now that's one we haven't done yet! Yeah, we did CCR and I remember Dave doing instrumentals. Girl groups would be cool and they would go along with the "various artists" that others have suggested here when we finish all the individual artists!
