Although...I DO think they were a little too hard on him and jdub for making music lists. We do that on this board all the time (well, I don't, but a lot of you guys do) and no one complains. Then again, the Click is a board entirely devoted to music, so there's more room for that than there is on a board which is about a variety of things.
We make very few plain lists, Laura. Nearly always there is discussion with each song or artist mentioned. (Or someone would list songs from a themed CD. )Dave used to write very good discussions when he initially did his Crazy List here, and we used to enjoy that. It was only toward the end, when he was redoing his list that he just listed 300 songs that he hated or something like that. It was the continuation of those meaningless lists at RL that caused the GH spoof.
