Love this chart today. So many childhood memories for me.
Which Way You Goin' Billy--Love this one. Had the 45 and played it constantly. I just listened to the snippet on the link you provided, and I got a little misty eyed listening to it. LOL!
The Wonder of You/Mama Liked the Roses--Good stuff from Elvis. Seems to me a female artist did "Mama Liked the Roses" not too long ago, but I can't think of who it was. Now it will bug me. LOL!
Lay Down--Always liked Melanie. My brother and I were always competing back then about which one of us could figure out "trivia" about songs and artists first. I remember I found out that Melanie's last name was "Safka" before he did. So naturally, I had to throw that in his face whenever possible. Heehee.
Get Ready--Rare Earth=Kick Ass! Love them!
Ride Captain Ride--The classic rock station here plays this song a lot, and I never get tired of hearing it.
Hitchin' A Ride--I had this 45 when I was a kid. Actually found the album that this song is on at a thrift store a few months ago.
The Long and Winding Road--Makes me kinda sad whenever I hear it.
Ball of Confusion--Really like this one.
Mama Told Me Not to Come--Three Dog Night's a great group. I like this song a lot. Didn't Randy Newman write this one?
The Love You Save--Lotsa memories of the J5. This is a nice, upbeat song from them.
Now I'm off to find out who sang "Mama Liked the Roses".
