Hi Dawn - Not the best of charts
Know two songs, The Flame & Roll With It
I prefer Cheap Trick's early stuff, but Roll With It is a great song by Steve Winwood. The rest don't really remember them.
Part of my problem with charts in the 80s, is I spent 7 of the 10 years of the decade out of this country, so I really didn't keep up with the American charts. And although their was some similarity between the British & American charts, I really wasn't following them that closely, so some music I just missed along the way. No one's fault but mine, just wish I knew more of the music on these late 80s charts.

By this time, I was listening to oldies more than top 40 radio, so like you, there are some songs from the late 80's that I missed hearing back then. In general, this wasn't a good time for music at all, IMO. |

Hey Dawn. Had to chime in one last time. I said that I bet that I might have heard some of the songs that I couldn't place. Well over the weekend while I was in Florida, my son had an '80s nostalgia station on in the car (even HE thought the term '80s nostalgia was funny) and I heard Make Me Lose Control by Eric Carmen. I had completely forgot about it, mainly because I always thought the title was Turn The Radio Up. I love that song!  |
