There are only a couple here that I like 10. Ok I guess their best tune IMO was Cruel Summer. 9.Ok ,better than some of the later material. 8.I heard this at the time - quite a bit too but it's been years. 7.Huey!  I like it 6.Don't recall this 5.Don't recall this either, Debbie was cute though 4.My favorite track by Whitesnake 3.Ewww LOL 2. see #6 1. LOVED it ! they did such a great job ! . I've been a big fan ever since the debut album     I agree with you about 'Cruel Summer' being Bananarama's best song, although this one would probably be my second choice. LOL about the Whitney and Michael songs! 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You' is a song I tried to like, but it never grew on me the way his 70's and early 80's material did. I'm not fond of 'La Bamba', but I should probably give Los Lobos' other songs a listen sometime! I think part of the reason I didn't care for it more was that it was so overplayed here at the time. |

I liked this year, but this is about half and half for me. 10) LOVE it, and the movie it was in (Disorderlies) 9) No thanks. The spanish was annoying as was the movie. 8) Love ABC, but this is probably my least favorite. 7) LOVE IT!!! HUEY!!!!! 6) No thanks 5) LOVE IT!!! Me and one of my friends used to sing into our hairbrushes and pretend we were Debbie. 4) No thanks - lousy lyrics to this one! (just my obnoxious opinion - no disrespect meant Cathy) 3) EW! 2) It's tolerable, but not outstanding. 1) Decent remake - excellent movie. I didn't realize 'I Heard a Rumour' was used in that movie! I'll have to check it out sometime! Singing into the hairbrush - I did that too!  Debbie really is quite talented, and is very successful on Broadway these days, I've heard. |
