I love this tune from the former Eagles bass player. I have the 45 and it reached #19 in 1981 and was Randy's second hit single. I played this just this past Saturday at a wedding my brother and DJ'd and it went over VERY well.

Was this on the soundtrack of American Anthem? The company I work for did some work for that movie, and we all got in to see it for free. Same with Vision Quest, and Spooner. We're supposed to have a big banner in an IMAX movie about extreme sports, but I don't know if it ever came out.
Anyway, if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's pretty cool.

Great song! On the discontinued "Radio Daze" Volume 5, plus "Lost 45's" Volume 2. Solid winner, one of the early 80's most perfect. Never raved over the former "Deep inside my heart", but also LOVE the 1982 hit "Never been in love". Wished he had more solo output.

Sure do, Ken! This is a very good song, and should be getting more airplay than it does. I have the Lost 45s CD, but would love to get the Radio Daze series as well. Like Dave, I also like 'Never Been in Love', although it's been ages since I've heard it on the radio.

Hi Railyn:) I've never seen the movie but I looked up the track listing to the soundtrack and didn't see it included.

Hi Railyn:) I've never seen the movie but I looked up the track listing to the soundtrack and didn't see it included. I may be thinking of something else. The only song I could remember definately being on there was "Take It Easy On Youself" by Andy Taylor. I do know a song by this title, and it's prob the same one I'm thinking of. It's a good movie. About the greuling world of competetive gymnastics. People chuckled at it, but it's tough. It had a good plot - great atheletes (Mitch Gaylord, Bart Connor), and good actors like Janet Jones (Mrs. Wayne Gretzky - she's not bad), some people I can't come up with a name for right this second, and Michelle (Mama's and Papa's) Phillips.
