The pop duo Sailcat consisted of Court Pickett on vocals and John Wyker on vocals and guitar . This one hit wonder peaked at #12 in 1972 . I remember hearing this as a kid and was happy Rhino included it on Volume 8 of Super Hits of The 70's . I never hear this on the local oldies station which is a shame. Here is a link to an audio clip of the song (windows media player) just click and enjoy! mfile.akamai.com/6555/wm2/muze.download.akamai.com/2890/us/uswm2/784/108784_1_12.asx

Sure do remember it, Ken. One of the better "lets get on the road" songs. I wonder if they got any $$ from Harley for their endorsement.

Great tune, Ken. I first heard it on a K-tel compilation - Brighter Side of Music, I believe - I picked up in the early 90s, and also have that Rhino Vol. 8 CD. I never hear this song on the oldies stations here either, unfortunately.
