Looking at the lyrics, the song is familiar but I have no memory of the tune or the artist.

I've always liked this one. I haven't heard it on the radio since it was a hit, but I have the 45, and it was also included on one of the Rhino Have A Nice Day volumes.

I knew I had this song in my collection! It's on Volume 25 of Rhino's "Have a Nice Day" series.I don't recall hearing it at the time (1979) but it's a good pop tune.
