I've been listening to quite a few of my old mix cassettes in the past several weeks, and this great tune was included on one of them.
I was in Grade 12 when this song was a hit back in 1985. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts and #11 in Canada.

Radio used to play the full version, where it kicks into "Broken (Live)". That's the only way I'd have it!

One of my favorite Tears for Fears songs. Listening to it always takes me back to my senior year of high school.

I was in second year of college in 1985 and a huuuge Tears for Fears fan. I was on the planning committee for Homecoming week that year, and I suggested that "Shout" (let it all out) be our theme song College - good times indeed. The whole decade of the 80's was terrific for me - I graduated college and I met my husband in 1986.

Tears For Fears....my all time favorite 80s band.Head Over Heals is a great song and I firmly believe that Roland Orzabal is an excellent, overlooked songwriter.
