'A Little More Love' is a big fave of mine as well. I love singing along with it!

'Lady' is a great tune, I agree. I have many good memories of hearing it back in the day. Little River Band is so overlooked today on the radio, but they put out some outstanding singles.

'Promises' is one of my favorite Clapton songs!

I remember hearing those other two Eric Carmen songs you mentioned quite a lot back in the day, but like you, I don't think I heard 'Change of Heart' nearly as much. Great song, though!

I've noticed that songs tend to stay on the A/C charts a little longer than on the Hot 100, so it kind of throws things behind a little bit on the A/C chart. It is interesting to see the differences in the rankings, though!

I completely agree about 'You Need A Woman Tonight' being overlooked. It's been ages since I've heard it on the radio. That Hip-O collection is excellent, much more complete than their first greatest hits.

I don't think I've ever heard 'Lost in Your Love', but I've always liked John Paul Young's 'Love is in the Air' a lot.

Yes, you're right about 'Sailing Without A Sail' - that should have been Michael Johnson. A mistake was made on the original post, and not being familiar with the song, I didn't catch it. But I looked it up on Google just now, and Michael Johnson is correct - it's from the same album as 'Bluer Than Blue'. Love that one!

I keep a list of CDs to purchase. However, some of them are either out of print or never was mastered (to CD). And so, I also keep a list of 'songs' just in case they appear on compilations.

Anyway, Neil Diamond's "Forever in Blue Jeans" has been on my list for a long time. Yes, it's available on (I think) those Essential or Gold CDs. Both those CDs are double discs and usually not on sale. However, I've noticed at Wallyworld that Neil's is on for 17 or 18 bucks. BUT, I'll pay that price if there's at least a few more great tunes. Most (if not all) the tunes have been overplayed to the ground. Now don't get me wrong, being overplayed usually doesn't bother me.... but some songs just can't cut it. And IMO, Neil's repertoire fits that category.

You know, I'll listen to him on the radio but I don't want those songs on CD. BUT, I really do want "Forever in Blue Jeans" and soooooooo, I'll have to wait and see what comes up (compilation, etc.).

BTW, I won't use Limewire or other file sharing services. However, I'm not against it. As a matter of fact, when I had Napster years ago, I purchased much more than normal.
