Bear with me, I am going somewhere with all these (although where, I don't know).
These 6 artists got the second most votes in each grouping they were in (Jan & Dean and Van Halen via tie breaker).
Now look at those 6. Six VERY strong canidates for the Hall and they were still just runners up in little 8 artist groupings! That is what the Hall is lacking.
Connie gets the victory here.

They all deserve their place in the hall - that's for sure. I think I'll also pick Connie - who I actually believed at one point had already been inducted.
