Ok, this list is the first of two parts. These artists are ones who did not win the first round, or come in as a runner up, yet got more than zero votes. I could've broken it down more, but I was fearing that you were getting confused, bored, or both. Besides, I thought I'd take advantage of the fact I can post more than 8 choices! But you tell me-is this alright, or should I have broken it down more? Anyway, I went with Graham Parsons.

Many good choices here. I went with Carly, just edging out Hall & Oates and Heart.

I would have probably liked it more broken down, but you're running the show not me. I went with Hall & Oates after deliberating for a long time.

A bit many choices, but I guess this will do. The more choices there are, the more likely there will be ties for first place.
Had to go with Chic.
Followed by: (Mind you, this is NOT arranged by my personal faves, just who I feel is most deserving) Neil Sedaka Blondie Jim Croce Cheap Trick Black Sabbath Jethro Tull Alice Cooper Blood, Sweat & Tears Dave Clark Five Deep Purple Guess Who Hall & Oates Graham Parsons Donovan Commodores Carly Simon Kiss Heart

I threw in a vote for Alice, but could have just as easily voted for Jim Croce.

1st place vote to Guess Who. Deep Purple, BST, DC5, & Heart follow in that order.
