Without a doubt, Gladys! I like Marvins, but Gladys' shouldn't take a back seat. CCR's version ("I HOID it through the Grapevine") is an 11 minute snorefest. The California Raisins????? No way..

Hey! I LIKE CCR's version! Therefore, I voted for it. ;D (No accountin' for taste is there?  ) However, my actual favorite version of the song is the ORIGINAL--aka the one by Gladys!!!! (I dig Marvin's version, too though) |

I like them all, but I voted for the California Raisins because that was the first version I ever heard, and I LOVED it when I was a kid. I even had some of the Raisins figurines.

California Raisins?  Yeah! It was a commercial. (Can't remember if it was just for raisins or for Raisin Bran or something like that) They had a bunch of animated raisins looking like and singing like a Motown group. |
