Pete pointed out the other day that Refugee as a single peaked in 80. True. I was just going off their albums when making the list. So here too, the later singles from Full Moon Fever are listed as 80s songs.
I'm going with Yer So Bad.

Had to go with "You Got Lucky". Definitely my #1 from him in that decade.

Once again, all of these are faves. So since I can only pick one - Change of Heart gets my vote. The Apartment Song would be my second choice

"Don't Come Around Here No More". The video was creepy, but I have fond memories of the spring of '85!

This is probably my favorite era for Tom songs, and I love most on the list, but my favorite would still have to be Waiting Is The Hardest Part.

Gotta go with the Alice In Wonderland inspired "Don't Come Around Here No More".
But, "Runnin' Down A Dream" comes a real close second.

I agree with Pete70's about "Don't Come Around Here No More". I thought the video was a bit twisted. I did get a kick out of it. By the way, anyone want a piece of vanilla cake? I also wanted to add that "Breakdown" an "You Don't Know How It Feels" are in my top five of Petty favorites. Two songs from different eras in his career.

... "Don't Come Around Here No More". I thought the video was a bit twisted. And what did it have to do with the song, anyway??? (Then again, it's not really a song that has a plot to it, so I guess someone thought the video should have one...)
