I'll still do some "faves of the decade" of each artist, but I wanted to change things up here.
And I've been on a Monkees kick, especially now that Skylar loves them.
I'm going with their first B side, Take a Giant Step which BLOWS AWAY the A side (Last Train to Clarksville), IMO.

Gotta go with "I don't think you know me". There are several versions, and I prefer Peter's version. I'm fairly soft on the remainder of this album. It's ok, but I prefer their later stuff.
I also like the fast version of "I Want To Be Free" but that's only found on Missing Links and a demo cd I have.....

Saturday's Child, followed by
Sweet Young Thing Take A Giant Step Papa Gene's Blues Let's Dance On
I'll Be True To You is good too, but The Hollies did it better!

Last Train To Clarksville is quite possibly my favorite Monkees song period, so I went with that one.

I picked Papa Gene's Blues, although I love Tomorrow's Gonna Be Another Day, Take A Giant Step, and Sweet Young Thing a lot.
