Wow, we are ending perfectly with 8 artists! (So no more suggestions!! LOL!)
The first 7 are Dave's, and I added Little Feat (without even realizing that it would make 8 at the time!). They seemed to have a cult following, just not as big as say, The Dead or Buffet.
I'm gonna go with them too. I don't see much of a chance for Cher.

Went with Steppenwolf almost by default. I don't know Little Feat, and most of the others seem kinda weak. Love The Carpenters, -- but The ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame? How durable were the B-52s? Olivia...maybe. Never cared much for the Marvalettes, and they were short on hits at Motown. (Mr. Postman and out, basically). Glen Campbell - give me a break. Cher?

I went with the Carpenters. In fact, I've felt that they should've had a place for some time. I know a sound argument can be made that they're not rock n roll enough, there's no denying their influence on tons of artists. And Richard is one of the greatest arrangers in music.

Yikes! Pretty odd assortment of artists! I chose The Carpenters. They had the most hits.

Voted for Little Feat. I've loved their music for over twenty years now, and they're great. Steppenwolf, Carpenters, & ONJ would follow in that order.

I went with the Carpenters, for the same reasons Kitty mentioned.

This was the hardest poll for me!
I went with the Carpenters, but I have high hopes for Cher and the B-52s as well.
