No, not the Beatles...The Bee Gees movie! I was about 8 years old when this movie came out and I thought it was so cool...the Bee Gees and Peter Framton! I know, I know. This is considered to be the worst film ever made. Well, I can't say that it's bad or good it's just that this movie does have a lot of charm. Or maybe it's just nostalgia from my childhood. And I thought some of the Beatles covers were not all that bad. I really liked Aerosmith's cover of Come Together and Billy Preston's version of Get Back. But on the other hand, you have George Burns singing Fixing A Hole and Steve Martin signing Maxwell's Silver Hammer...

I think it's an OK movie, you just have to look closely and find the humor in it (and believe me, there is some!)
Some of the cover versions are really good, especially the Frampton and The Bee Gees ones, like "Getting Better".
Not my favorite Beatles parody movie, though. That honor goes to "The Rutles".

Never mind the fact that it's full of cheese, been slammed by critics, and named one of the worst movies ever made - that never stopped me from enjoying Sgt. Pepper. You have the Bee Gees, Aerosmith, Earth Wind and Fire, Peter Frampton, etc.. making up an enjoyable soundtrack. I had a lot of fun watching them perform throughout the movie, and the cheesiness of it all!
Two favorites:
Get Back
Got To Get You Into My Life

At the time, I thought this was a brilliant movie!! Of course, I was nuts about Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees Now, I have to really be in the mood to watch it. I mean, Frankie Howerd as Mean Mr. Mustard - WTF??? Some of the cover tunes are pretty good - Aerosmith's Come Together, Billy Preston's Get Back and Earth Wind and Fire's Got to Get You into My Life stand out as decent covers in my opinion. This is one of those "guilty pleasures" for me ;D

Hi a thompson! I was around 10 when the movie came out and a beatle fanatic so I HAD to see this movie . I went with my parents and all my dad could say on the way home was what a piece of crap LOL! Well I didn't think it was quite that bad , but the movie does have it's share of cheesiness to it. Like you I really like Aerosmith 's version of Come Together more now than I did then.
