What are some of the worst movie soundtracks you've ever heard?
As for me, I'll have to think about it for a while.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - as done by the BeeGees and Peter Frampton
Thank God It's Friday - not even Donna Summer could save that one
Sixteen Candles - the movie had great music but the soundtrack only picked 4 (yes 4) songs, and only 2 were good.
That's all I can think of right now.

The Bee Gees slaughtering the Bealtes in the soundtrack from "Sgt.Pepper's Lonley Hearts Blub Band". Atrocious, insulting and just bad music.

Railyn already mentioned the 2 I hate: Sixteen Candles and Thank God It's Friday. Especially Sixteen Candles because there was a ton of good music in the movie and they chose not to put on the album. Very frustrating! Oh and don't hate me y'all...the soundtrack from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Movie is one of my favorite soundtracks. *ducks head in shame*

I thought that the Sgt. Pepper soundtrack had some good cover versions! Not all of them, of course ("Mean Mr. Mustard" for example), were up to par, but I thought the Bee Gees did a good job on "Getting Better", "A Day In The Life", etc...

I like some of the songs on the Sgt. Pepper soundtrack. I thought Aerosmith did a good job with "Come Togther". And some of the Bee Gees songs were alright. But on the other hand, you have Steve Martin singing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and George Burns' version of "Fixing A Hole"....what the hell were they thinking?!

Well, I admit that I like the ENTIRE sountrack even the cheesy "Fixing A Hole", "Maxwell Silver Hammer" and the extremely goofy "When I'm 64" duet by Sandy Farina and Frankie Howerd. I can't help it - I just love everything about this craptastic film and soundtrack. In fact **hides head further in shame** I just got the DVD of the movie from Amazon.
