I know everyone has seen this Oscar winning movie! This is a wonderful tribute to Ray and I'll watch forever and never get tired of it.Jaime Fox did a superb job playing Ray. I saw and learned things I never knew about him. Heroin/drug addiction I was aware of,but I did'nt realise he was a baby making ladies man! ;D

I saw it in the theater about a year or so ago, and then taped it off cable to watch again. It's coming up to the top of my queue, so I'll be seeing it again shortly. The one thing I didn't know about Ray was that his blindness was caused by glaucoma - which can be treated today. Unfortunately, this was too late for him. |

IMO Ray could 'see' things us sighted folks did'nt,or usually took for granted. I really cried when his little brother drowned in the washtub.He still had his sight at the time,and it haunted Ray all his life. That was another hard fact I did'nt know. He was a genious in many ways. So far,Ray is the best most accurate musician movie I ever saw.

Excellent movie, one I hope to get on DVD before long. I too did not realize that Ray had such a reputation as a ladies' man.
