My opinion in a nutshell: I was not really familiar with this one, but it's kind of sobering, in a way. But yet, it's very true. And it seems the older you get, the more true it is.

Lyrically, this is one of my all-time favorite songs, and it has struck a chord with me in a way that few other songs have. I've always been fascinated by the passage of time and have also seriously wondered at times if I've made the most of my time on earth so far, and the lyrics really speak to both of those points. I couldn't agree with you more about the words being more and more true as we get older. The lines "you are young and life is long and there is time to kill today/And then one day you find ten years have got behind you" are probably my favorites.
