As promised, here are the lyrics to No Doubt's "Simple Kind of Life". Sorry it took so long. I have put the lyrics that most apply to me in bold.

This is Gwen Stefani's first solo-composed song, by the way. Also, this is the start of a new post! "Lyrics Lora Loves"! I will be doing these semi-regularly now.

I hadn't planned on responding because I know very little about No Doubt - in fact, nothing. But then again, this website has gotten me interested in other groups I knew nothing about.

The lyrics are kinda melancholy and depressing. - but I generally like songs like that. I'll try to listen to a clip.

From the lyrics that you bolded (as well as another post where I remember you alluding to a bad relationship), it sounds like you're going through some rough times. I hope things turn around for you soon. And remember, you have friends at The Click.

The rough times are actually sort of over, but it left me so hurt that I tend to dwell on it. If you want to know about the situation, I'm willing to share, but I don't want to post it here if no one wants to hear about it.
