Nothing happened today, in all 52 years of Elvis' life apparently, so I am going back to this past weekend.

In a coliseum show in Waco, Texas, Elvis drives out on the field and up to the stage in his Cadillac. Later he tells a local reporter that his fame "happened so fast, I'm scared. You know, I could go out like a light, just like I came on."
