September 26, 1969 - The Beatles release their 13th album in the U.K., "Abbey Road." It was released a week later in the U.S. and was the last album they made together as a group. Within a month, the album began an eleven week run in the number one spot.

Abbey Road is such a great album, definitely one of the all-time classics. I wish they could have continued as a group, though.  |

Very sad that the band was falling apart but through all the up's and down's they created music that was timeless . Abbey Road is a classic!
