December 18, 1965 - The Beatles enter the Hot 100 again, with both sides of their latest record, "We Can Work It Out" and "Day Tripper." The former is on the charts for 12 weeks making it to number one while the latter makes it up to number five.

Never liked "We Can Work it Out". Love "Day Tripper" (that opening guitar riff!)

This was the first Beatles single I owned, and both of the songs are among my favorites. I love their middle period!
