It's time to remember and celebrate Sharon Tate for who she was ... not what happened to her.

Here's a dramatic shot that I got from the front row at the Fort Wayne show. I hope the picture size isn't too large. Rob

Here's one that I used the 12x zoom on ... I had to sharpen it up and then I resized it. I just got this camera and it was a major step up for me. The learning curve was very high ...

Excellent photos, Rob. I like the backlit effect on the first one. Which camera are you using? My husband and I are thinking of getting a digital, but I'm not sure where to start as far as features and brands.

Excellent photos, Rob. I like the backlit effect on the first one. Which camera are you using? My husband and I are thinking of getting a digital, but I'm not sure where to start as far as features and brands. Thanks ... the first one needed the least amount of editting. I resized it and used a salt and pepper filter to remove some of the noise from the resizing. I just recently got the Panasonic DMC-FZ5 ... its a pretty good little (well big compared to some) camera. It doesn't have the manual focus option that the Canon and Sony 12x cameras do. But it also was checking in at $100 less than those at the time. I looked at both of those and went back and forth - I'm happy with the choice but I still have a lot to learn on it. A really good site to check out is called Digital Photography Review (www.dpreview.com) - this was one of the main sites I used to decide. I guess it really comes down to what type of photography you are wanting it for ... the Canon's are usually rated high (A-series and S-series Powershots) but they only have 4x and 3x optical zooms. I wanted something with a bit more range. I also looked at the Panasonic that has a 6x zoom but decided I wanted the higher powered 12x. My biggest problem is that I have a hard time getting the camera to stay still. I took 60 something pictures and most didn't turn out to well. The close-up looked bad before I sharpened it up. Anyway ... I'm hoping I can win the meet and greet for either the Cleveland or Cincinnati show so I can get some better shots ... I swear I'd also ask Martina if I could have her harmonica! If she agreed that would be cool!

If she agreed that would be cool! Thanks, Rob - I'll check out that site! One feature I definitely want is the higher-powered zoom. Our 35mm camera's zoom capabilities are pretty limited, and there have been several occasions when I've wished we'd gotten a model with higher zoom capabilities.

Very cool pictures! I live in Fort Wayne and tried to win some tickets to the concert over the radio, but I had no luck. Maybe next time.

For Adam ... the best feet in the business! Great close up! Imagine how great that shot would be with opentoed shoes!
