Music Click Homecoming Weekend Party!!

Wow! I haven't been on a brand new board here since May 9, 2003!

First of all, thanks Dawn, for these changes that are still going on.

Now -- some early info on the Homecoming Party

It will be the weekend of October 19-21. Starting 5 PM Eastern time on Friday, and going non-stop through Sunday night until the last Clickster signs off. Like last year, you'll be able to "attend" whenever and as many times as you like all weekend!

All Clicksters - present, past, and maybe some future members -will be invited. The only exception being past members who have been banned.

Several of us are planning the party, but everyone will have a job, and that is:

1. Think of special features, games, surveys, memories, etc., that we all may enjoy, and post them that weekend.

2. You may be asked to help get in touch with Clicksters, past and present who seem to be unreachable. If you have an email address, phone number, myspace address, etc., for someone in these categories, we may ask you to try and contact them to invite them.

I'll be doing invites by PM at RL and ML as well.

This will be our first Click party in over a year, so I'm looking forward to it and hope it will be a great success.

We're hoping to get in touch with as many members as possible. If anyone has current contact info for some of our long-lost members, like Kat (who was CinderGirl on YL), please let us know.

Also, if there is someone you feel would be a good addition to the Click, they are welcome, but please let me know in advance what username they will be registering with so I can approve their membership. Because of past problems with banned members trying to re-register here, I've had to keep the board settings somewhat restricted, to requiring approval first before their membership is finalized.

I definitely think these changes to the board will be a good thing.

I have so many ideas, but so little time to see them to fruition... One thing I will most certainly have is the kick-off to Season Three of "I Could've Been A Contender".

I may even invite my friend Dave to join us. He's a big music buff, who just recently got a computer, and has been one of my best friends for about 10 years now.

It's been great to see several new and returning members over the past week or two. Glad to have you here!

Does anyone know how to reach Cathy, who was Cathy63 on YL and ML, by any chance? I emailed her last Friday, and though apparently the email account is still active, I don't know whether she still checks it regularly or not, as I haven't heard back from her.

Also, if anyone knows how we might get in touch with Kat, that would be great. I tried to email her at the address she used when she registered for the Click, but it came back undeliverable.

I'll be here, but as Ed said on another post, it will be at weird hours. Since I generally work a swing shift schedule, my posting will be done late in the night. Looking forward to it.
