Very cool, JP! I love how the artists incorporated the jingle into one of their hits, and it's interesting to hear all the different styles.

MEAT LOAF's in a new commercial that's pretty funny, singing a variation on PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT...

I've been seeing that one a lot in the last couple of weeks, and I agree, it's pretty cool. The guy playing Meat's son was well casted; the two could easily pass for real-life father and son!

That IS a great commercial - and I thought maybe it could be his son. You know for a fact that it's not? I've been listening to some of Meat's later stuff lately - like Bat Out of Hell II and III. He's still got it!

He's still got it! I thought it was his son too, as they look uncannily alike, but apparently Meat has two daughters and no sons. According to a site I checked, the "son" is an actor named Adam Cagley.

Here's a Folgers' commercial with Paul Stanley. I've had this for some time. I never, ever heard it on the radio. Speaking of Mr. Stanley, he's included in this montage of celebrities intoning the famous phrase "It's 10 pm...do you know where your children are?" on WNYW in New York.(I love how he looks at his watch before he says it!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=mweFiS6Z_WU&feature=related
