Sorry to hear about it. Paul's "I Go Crazy" was rather unique in it's time. It peaked, I believe at #7, but stayed on the charts for something like 6 months. That was unheard of back in the '70s. ------- His " '65 Love Affair" remains in my all time top 500.
RIP, Paul.

Very sad news. I've always enjoyed Paul's songs, especially I Go Crazy, Sweet Life and Do Right.

Very sad news. I've always enjoyed Paul's songs, especially I Go Crazy, Sweet Life and Do Right. I like "Do Right" the best. All his other stuff that I heard was good too.

Sad news RIP Paul. I remember hearing, I Go Crazy, Cool Night (which I have on 45) and '65 Love Affair many times on the radio when they were current.Back in high school, I remember a buddy of mine really liked '65 Love Affair. I recall being at his house listening to the radio and him recording it.

after his pop career, DAVIS charted a few singles on the country charts, including a duet with MARIE OSMOND. two of my favorite early pop songs by him are SUPERSTAR, a tribute to ELTON JOHN, LINDA RONSTADT and other 70s stars, and the rare rocker BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN, which i have never found outside of the K-TEL album i first heard it on...

Very sad new indeed I remember cruising with my girlfriend at the time and we heard "Cool Night" on the radio. We both liked the song. Sadly, we split up shortly thereafter.
