We sank Yellow Submarine with four votes against it, so it becomes the first casuality of Album Survivor.
Several other songs are in danger with one vote against them. Will they survive another round?
For this round, let's pick THREE songs to eliminate. Here are the remaining songs to choose from:
"Love Me Do" – 2:23 "Please Please Me" – 2:03 "From Me to You" – 1:57 "She Loves You" – 2:22 "I Want to Hold Your Hand" – 2:26 "All My Loving" – 2:08 "Can't Buy Me Love" – 2:13 "A Hard Day's Night" – 2:34 "And I Love Her" – 2:31 "Eight Days a Week" – 2:45 "I Feel Fine" – 2:19 "Ticket to Ride" – 3:10 "Yesterday" – 2:05 "Help!" – 2:19 "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" – 2:11 "We Can Work It Out" – 2:16 "Day Tripper" – 2:49 "Drive My Car" – 2:27 "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" – 2:05 "Nowhere Man" – 2:44 "Michelle" – 2:42 "In My Life" – 2:27 "Girl" – 2:31 "Paperback Writer" – 2:31 "Eleanor Rigby" – 2:08
I'm sticking with All My Loving from Round 1, and am adding Can't Buy Me Love and Girl.
Which three would you like to see cast off the island?

THREE?!?!?!?! It's hard enough to pick one! It's a strong album, I agree. The guy who runs this feature on the other board usually asks for two eliminations per round in the early rounds of the double albums, but since we have a smaller pool of voters here, I think it will work out better and keep the game moving if we do three choices at a time for the next round or two.

Which three would you like to see cast off the island? I think I'll go with "She Loves You", "I Want To Hold Your Hand", and "From Me To You." About eight years ago, Capitol records finally released "1" which was a single length CD all of the U.S. & UK number ones. All above mentioned plus 24 others can be found on that CD. I realize on this forum we discuss album and sometimes cassette listings. But I when Capitol released both the Red 1962-66 and Blue 1967-70 albums on CD, back in October 1993, I was a bit disappointed that the label did not include some bonus tracks for the Red CD. Charging customers $34.99 for material that could be consolidated onto one full-length CD doesn't make sense to me. If the label wanted to justify the price tag, why not add some bonus tracks? This could explain why the Blue album 1976-70 tends be a better value. Just my humble opinion. A few years back, the store I work at had excellent deals on the Beatles catalogue. This included the Red, Blue and White Albums for the low price of $19.99. Most of the single full-length collections went for $9.99. This was the same year the label released "The Capitol Albums Vol. 2" box set. I realize that I went on a bit of a tangent here. Thank you for letting me indulge on this post.
