With three votes, Can't Buy Me Love indeed could not buy any love and was eliminated.
It should be interesting to see how this round plays out, as there are a total of seven songs in a tie to be eliminated next, with two votes apiece. Will some or all of them fall before we get to Round 7?
Here are our remaining survivors:
"Please Please Me" – 2:03 "She Loves You" – 2:22 "I Want to Hold Your Hand" – 2:26 "All My Loving" – 2:08 "A Hard Day's Night" – 2:34 "Eight Days a Week" – 2:45 "Ticket to Ride" – 3:10 "Help!" – 2:19 "We Can Work It Out" – 2:16 "Day Tripper" – 2:49 "Drive My Car" – 2:27 "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" – 2:05 "Nowhere Man" – 2:44 "In My Life" – 2:27 "Paperback Writer" – 2:31 "Eleanor Rigby" – 2:08
Again, let's pick three songs to boot. I'm sticking with my choices from Round 5, All My Loving and Eight Days A Week, and adding I Want to Hold Your Hand.
How about you?

Guess I'll stick w/my previous choices also...
Please Please Me Drive My Car Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
BTW, I have seen this game (and played it) on rateyourmusic.com as well. I don't play the game there anymore, though, because there were soooo many of these games going at once, and it was too hard to keep up! Sometimes my favorite songs on an album would be eliminated long before I even knew there was a survivor game for that album!

I'm seeing an interesting trend here. I differ with a lot of you on the fact that I really like I Want To Hold Your hand and She Loves You, and the rest of you are in the process of voting them off the island. I think the difference is that most of you younger people were given a dose of all the Beatles music all at once, and you would decide on which songs you liked better than others en masse.
I was given the Beatles, one or two songs at a time and was able to digest them that way. I Want To Hold Your Hand and She Loves You were two of the first 3 or 4 Beatles songs I ever heard. They are my "Heard It First" of the greatest act ever. That makes them special gems to me.

It must have been amazing to have heard those songs when they were brand new, as they were incredible, so different and advanced from much of the other music released at the time. The first Beatles songs I knew as a kid growing up in the '70s were mostly the middle-period, '65-'66 hits (especially the Yesterday and Today album, which I still love dearly), with a smattering of the early and later hits, and that's still the period of Beatles' music I prefer most.
