I made a stop by my local newstand/dvd rental store and found the current copy of Rolling Stone. I must confess I only purchase the magazine about once a year. The cover featured presidential candidate Barack Obama. But that wasn't the main reason why I purchased the magazine. This was RS annual double summer issue and while I was thumbing through I noticed a feature story on Rush! This was a bit of a shock to me considering the magazine rarely writes about the band. But the article was a nice overview of the bands history, career and why the fans young and old still faithfully purchase their music and fill arenas to see these Canadian rock legends! The double issue will set you back about $5.95, however I do recommend it to any Rush fan new or old. The old fans probably know everything about the band already. Yet, I'm glad RS, found a free lance writer to interview the band.

My husband will love this! He's a HUGE fan of Rush.
On a side note, I heard they were going to be on the Daily Show sometime in the near future. They haven't appeared on US television in over 30 years!

They haven't appeared on US television in over 30 years! They were on "Colbert Report" last night...it reminded me of Geddy Lee appearing on the Bob/Doug McKenzie album cut, "Take Off"..."Hey--ten bucks is ten bucks!"

Excellent! Now the idiots at RS need to get their heads out of their arses and feature KISS (whom they've always seen as "persona non grata")!

Excellent! Now the idiots at RS need to get their heads out of their arses and feature KISS (whom they've always seen as "persona non grata")! I totally agree with you Pete! RS to my knowledge has only featues KISS twice in their magazine. The first time was in 1976 with an article titled KISS "Gotham Glitter" ( I have a copy of that issue), and there was a mention of the reunion tour sometime in 1996. It's unbelievable.
