I don't think many of you remember this one from 1959. -- But you may have heard of it. Edward "Kookie" Byrnes was one of many TV stars over the years who parlayed his TV stardom into a hit record.

Yep, I've heard the song (although it's been a while), but had never seen a copy of the picture sleeve. I didn't realize Connie Stevens was the female voice, though - that's interesting.

I've also heard the song quite a few times, but I've never seen the pic sleeve before.
I remember Ed Byrnes appeared on a episode of Married... With Children.

I don't remember if she was quite that famous yet in early '59 when the song came out. But I think when they DJs started playing it, at first they said it was Edd Byrnes and "Friend". It's kinda like when Big Dee Irwin did "Swingin On A Star" it was Big Dee Irwin and Friend, and later we found out the friend was Little Eva.
