Made a visit to the used CD joint today. First visit in a really long time. Here's the CD's I bought.
Straight Shooter - Bad Company Revolver - Beatles Greatest Hits - Blackfoot Flowers - Rolling Stones Let it Bleed - Rolling Stones Aja - Steely Dan
Since they were running a special, I got the Blackfoot & Bad Company CDs for a buck. Total haul was 6 CDs for $39.00.

Those are some great finds, Woody. Revolver is among my absolute favorite Beatles albums, and always nice to hear.
I watched the VH-1 Classic Albums episode on Aja about two months ago, and it was really interesting to hear Donald and Walter share their memories of the sessions and the studio techniques they used. That album still stands up very well today.

A few years ago, Pete (whom contributes to this site) gave me a copy of Aja on vynil and I loved it. Eventually, I purchased a remastered CD copy.

Hi Woody Excellent finds Those Stones CD's, are they the remastered editions that came out in 2002? Flowers is the remastered edition. Let it Bleed I'm not sure. The front of the CD says it's digitally remastered, but on the back the copyright date is 1986. I guessing it probably is the remastered edition & they just didn't change the copyright date.

My guess is it's the 86 version. They all said "Digitally remastered" in red letters on the front. But "Digitally Remastered" in 1986 was nowhere near the quality of Digitally remastered CD's today. Still a great album, though!

Hi Pete Yup, you are correct, in my collection I have the old versions of Hot Rocks, More Hot Rocks and December's Children.

It is the 1986 version. But I only paid about $7.99 for the CD, something that whomever bought it in 1986 did not. The second count is it is a great album.
