And prior to this I had only ever heard Head East's version of "Since You've Been Gone". The LP cover looked like a street sign, which attracted my attention when I came across it at the thrift shop, prior to that I had never heard of them or the song! There are several great tracks on here, that Euclid Street Band cut is especially interesting since I'm now in Cleveland and work right by Euclid Street. In a closet at work there are a bunch of old LP's left over from when they did PM Magazine here eons ago, I'll have to dig through and see if a copy of that exists up there.

I'm very familiar with the band Brutus, I have their hit from 1976 "Oh Mama Mama" included on the Ktel album Blockbuster. I had no idea that singer Walter Zwol embarked on a solo career. The Rockets' Can't Sleep is pretty good, but I like their cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" more. Bandit - One Way Love - I really like this, I have the album, and it is very, very good! I also had no idea that the Currie Sisters recorded "Since You've Been Gone." I knew at the time they had released an album, but had never heard it. No Time To Lose - Fantastic song, I seem to recall Adam mentioning it, because I have the song on a mix CD I made. The Fabulous Poodles - I'm vaguely familiar with the name so it's great to finally get to hear a track of their's. Mistrusted Love - Mistress - Very good, I like this one! As far as Dave Walker is concerned, , there was a Dave Walker included in a lineup of Savoy Brown, but I don't recall him (if it's the same person) ever being in any lineup of Fleetwood Mac. Ken, is Brutus' style similar to Call Out My Name? You're right, I remember Adam mentioning No Time to Lose as well - on the INSANE list, I think. I had just become familiar with the song not long before that. Dawn, Yes, the Brutus style is somewhat similar. Here is Ooh Mama Mama

That Head East album sounds interesting! I know their song Never Been Any Reason, from their first album, but not a lot beyond that. One of these days I'd like to investigate deeper. Wow, PM Magazine - that takes me back! I remember watching that show often!

That's a good track - a shame that it didn't catch on better in the US. I'll have to keep an eye out for more of their stuff!
