I thought I'd start this thread (maybe on the wrong board) to talk about funny coincidences involving music.
I posted on the opinions board last week in one of the "Rate the Songs" surveys that just as I was typing in my opinion/rating to "Blinded By the Light" by the Manfred Mann Earth Band, the song came on XM's '70s on 7.
Then yesterday morning, I was in the car driving to a doctor's appointment, and I had Traveling Wilburys Vol 3 on in the car. The song on at the time was "New Blue Moon." Just then I noticed I was coming up to a row of political signs on the median strip. There were about 10 of them, and they all said the same thing : "Vote for Moon for Councilman" -- and as I passed this long row of "Moon" signs, the lyric on the CD was: "So many moons have come and gone." Pretty cool coincidence.
