Over the past 10 days or so, Susan Boyle has been the talk of the internet. Her performance on Britain's Got Talent was called truly amazing by many. Her looks are, however, shall we say, in need of a little sandpaper and maybe a chisel.
So - you tell me. Do her looks detract from her voice? Does she need a makeover. Or does the sound of her voice make up for any physical shortcomings?
What do you think?

I saw Susan Boyle perform "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. She has an awesome voice! I heard a bit of her back story and she has overcome so much! America loves success stories. Although Ms. Boyle doesn't have model looks, I do believe music fans and unconventional CD buyers will help create an audience for her.

I saw Susan Boyle perform "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. She has an awesome voice! I heard a bit of her back story and she has overcome so much! America loves success stories. Although Ms. Boyle doesn't have model looks, I do believe music fans and unconventional CD buyers will help create an audience for her. I heard part of 'My Heart Will Go On" also, Dave. -- and she sang it acapella! It was fantastic! -- And she doesn't look any worse than Celine Dion anyway!  |
