Lets see.
I got CD versions of the first 5 Led Zep albums (I, II, III, IV, Houses of the Holy)
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother (really one of their weaker albums, but not bad)
Weezer - Red Album
Foo Fighters - Echoes
I also downloaded songs and made a two volume Turtles greatest Hits CD

I bought the Captain & Tennille discs I posted about from the dollar store, (Mostly just to finish out the set since I had never heard any of those albums. I probably wouldn't have gotten them if they were more than $1) and I picked up a used copy of Prince's 1999 last week. I think I'm probably the only person on earth who DESPISES the concept of downloading music. I like to actually HOLD the album (or CD) in my hand and look at the pictures and read the liner notes as I listen to the songs. I guess that's an archaic concept nowadays...

Hey Daniel, I agree, sadly I think with most nowadays it is an outdated concept. I'm the same way, I also like to hold the album or CD cover in my hand. If I do download something I always include the cover for the CD or if I make a homemade compilation I always make a cover to go along with it including info where each song came from.

I love TSO, I own The Christmas Attic. I would love to get the new TSO, they never disappoint me. Money's been tight lately, but I have purchased some the the Beatles 2009 stereo remasters. Here's the one's I've purchased: A Hard Day's Night With The Beatles Beatles For Sale Revolver Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Abbey Road

Sadly, our library is getting worse. They hardly ever have any used books for sale, and discontinued all music.
Haven't bought any music in ages. I now put songs from youtube on playlists.
Did two songs today- "When I Was Young" by the Animals, and "Hold Me in Your Arms" by Teddy Pendergrass.

The ones near me don't have that many CDs available for checkout (and what they do have is mostly newer pop or folk or classical). And they almost never put any of the discs out for sale. The only music-related items I've seen at any of the libraries for purchase lately were a handful of country 45s from the '80s. It's getting harder and harder to find used music, period. A lot of record stores in the L.A. area have closed in the last few years.

Our CD collection seems to be quite good from what I've noticed. I do notice used books for sale every so often, but never CD's. Unfortunately so many of the CD's end up in such terrible condition that I don't think anyone would buy them anyway, I know I wouldn't.

It might be worth checking out of there's a place near you that will re-surface CD's. There's a used music store here (Buybacks, Railyn is a fan) that will re-surface damaged CD's and DVD's for $3/disc. I took in a few that had been used at the radio station and looked as if someone had taken sandpaper to them and they were able to get ALL the scratches out and the discs are like new.
