Just wanted to pass along the news that many issues of Billboard magazine have been scanned and archived by Google books, and are available to browse through. While the collection is not 100% complete, there are a lot of issues covering the years 1942 through 2008. Not only are the charts there, but also interesting articles and cool ads for albums and audio gear of the time. A great resource! Check it out at: books.google.com/books?id=PCgEAAAAMBAJ&dq=billboard&source=gbs_all_issues_r&cad=2 . This link takes you to the Feb. 28, 1970 issue, but all issues can be accessed from the tabs on the page.

This is kinda cool, Dawn because they have entire issues. -- But they only have selected issues - a lot of them, but not all. While I was looking around I found a link to a site that claime it has all of the Billboard charts The Ultimate Music Database: www.umdmusic.com/I really haven't looked that much at it yet, but I picked 3 dates at random, and got the hot 100 charts for those dates.
