Yes, I just had seen this myself. He really changed the way that people used guitars.

I was in the car and NPR replayed an old interview with Les Paul. I was moved that despite some of his health and personal struggles, he never stopped what he loved doing: going out to perform at a club and play his guitar. I think that's a lesson we all can learn from this brilliant man. God Bless and RIP!

My friend Brian (bgbassman) got to see him at the Iridium twice during the past couple of years. He got his picture taken as well as his bass signed by Les.
