This isn't something that I normally pay much attention to. But I think this time under the circumstances, I have to point to this particular post as the one in which I accomplish something that DJ Dave never accomplished on YL. Davey, this is my 10,000th post on the Music Click. And that doesn't count the one when I was Homer! Wait a minute! If I count the one that was Homer that would make it 10,001. D'oh!!!

10001 is just 17. In base 2. What new worlds are there there for you to conquer now? I am quietly planning to go into our office supply room, take a box of paper clips, go back to my office, shut the door, and find out EXACTLY how many paper clips are in that box. I bet it isn't 100!

I always thought you were 196.967. Wanna know something geeky that I remember from High School Chemistry? I remembered the symbol for gold when, in a Facts of Life episode, Toodie and Nat were having to memorize the Table of Elements. In one scene, Nat uses word association to help remember by imaginging someone stealing her gold necklace. She exclaims, "Au! Give me back my gold!" Do you think I ever forgot that?
