Sad to hear of Ellie's passing. We're losing so many of the great artists, musicians and songwriters of the rock era - Larry Knechtel passed away recently as well.  |

I went back to check on Larry's bio, and realized that I did not know that he did that wonderful guitar solo in Bread's "The Guitar Man" - the one I always called the "talking" guitar. |

I went back to check on Larry's bio, and realized that I did not know that he did that wonderful guitar solo in Bread's "The Guitar Man" - the one I always called the "talking" guitar. Hi Ed, That guitar solo is one of my favorite solos of all time and I remember reading awhile back now that Larry played it. |
