There was a quite hastily put together Michael Jackson exhibit. I'm saying it was hastily put together due to the fairly short time since his death, and the relative sparsity of material in the exhibit. Since there was an adjacent larger exhibit called "Motown Turns 50," it appears that some (or maybe all) of the photos of Michael were taken from that exhibit. The only other components of the MJ exhibit were a number of fairly mundane, gratuitous quotes from various people upon learning of his death.

Well, Michael was stil alive in April, but I did enjoy the Motown exhibit.
I was all grins when I walked in, and Marvin Gaye was singing "Ain't That Peculiar?". ;D

I guess they felt they had to make a statement, but I'd prefer they did nothing, or waited til they could mount a really informative display.
