Linda is definitely one of the more versatile singers; she always sounds fabulous.
I've always loved her take on this song. A great ballad, with just the right amount of edge.

I've said several times that I have never been a big fan of Linda's. That's mainly, I think, because, so many of her songs are covers, and suffer (for me anyway) from Heard It First Syndrome.
But this song is (I think) original, and such a beautiful song..
In honor of Joe, I was going to post thiis version in it's very own thread, but I decided against it!

Yes, I KNOW it is technically the Stone Poneys, but Capitol was already grooming Linda as a solo act, and she is the ONLY Stone Poney on this recording!
For me, she's never topped this...
