I HAD pretty much shopped the place aout a few years ago--but he's gotten a lot more 45's since my last visit...and the wait paid off! All told, I got these for about $30...

I haven't heard that Gayle McCormick song, but I've always thought she had a great voice.

I don't think I've ever come across that Classics IV single...apart from the three biggest hits, their stuff seems pretty rare. Excellent find!

Actually, the best part is the atmosphere--a dusty old basement of a warehouse, with everything having its own niche...and right in the middle (next to hundreds of old Playboys--they go back to the 1960's...not that I've LOOKED or anything ) is a TON of 45s and hundreds of LPs...gathering dust. The owner usually gives me a break on the $$, as I'm usually the only one who really checks them out!

Just had to post this real quickly! I just started looking at the list with the 50s on 5 (XM) playing in the background. As I skim down Grem's list, on comes Blue Monday!

I thought I owned the only copy of "So Long Baby" in existence. This will seriously reduce the value of my copy. (Big Top records; pink label, right?)

My copy of "Jolly Green Giant" is on the Canadian label "REO" (it has "By arrangement with Wand Records U.S.A." printed on label)

I only listened to a portion of it, as I'd never heard of it, myself--the only thing is that John Sebastian does not sing the lead vocal. This may be from when he left the group...?
