Some good ones to pick from. I went with this one. The opening sounds like it's going to become the Tokens' "She Lets Her Hair Down (Earky in the Morning)" I never knew that The Tokens recorded "She Let's Her Hair Down," MC. I'm only familiar with the Gene Pitney version. It looks like they both hit the charts the same week in 1969. I'll have to check out the Tokens version. |

I remember hearing this one in 1963, months before I ever heard of the Beatles. It didn't chart in the US for another year. It's my favorite by Gerry.

The Tokens version made it to 61, and Gene Pitney's only to 89. |
