Richie Hayward - Drummer with Little Feat has died

Sadly, after a year or so long battle with lung cancer, Richie has passed away.


He was an amazing and gifted drummer - RIP Richie. ;(

Sad news...I hadn't realized he had been ill. So many of the great musicians from that generation are passing...

Little Feat is one of those groups I've been meaning to check out more deeply. "Dixie Chicken" is a classic, though, and I also like "Oh Atlanta."

My oldest brother has a few of their albums so I heard A few of their songs growing up like Dixie Chicken, Willin' and yeah Oh Atlanta is an excellent song - great piano!
